Belgian Tervuren

The Belgian Tervuren is one of the four varieties of Belgian Shepherd dogs. The Belgian Tervuren originates from the Belgian village of Tervuren, the home of M.F. Corbeel, an early lover of the breed. The Belgian Tervuren has a characteristic black face mask, and long hair in all shades of red, fawn and gray. Like the other Belgian Shepherds, it is intelligent and alert, requiring exercise and a job to do.
