The Fox Terrier started as a stable dog in Britain, used to hunt rabbit and fox. The Fox Terrier is divided into two groups by coat type; smooth and wire. A Fox Terrier is lively and full of pep, and always ready for play, but still able to be easily trained as a watchdog with its alert, intelligent activity level.
