The Japanese Spitz was developed as a separate Spitz breed in Japan. It still is rarely seen outside of Japan. It is a courageous, loyal and intelligent dog. A Japanese Spitz distrusts strangers and in a one-person dog. It has a beautiful all-white coat, and like all Spitz dogs carries its tail high and over the back.
