Miniature Pinscher

The Miniature Pinscher or Min Pin is not a small Doberman. It is an older breed than Doberman, and probably is the cross of the German smooth-haired Pinscher with an Italian Greyhound or Smooth Dachshund. The breed was developed to be a barn ratter, but now is sought after because it is an ideal pet and companion. This dog is intelligent, spirited and affectionate. A Miniature Pinscher has a unique high-stepping gait, like a Hackney Pony.
